Counselling or Psychotherapy is an effective tool for overcoming problems associated with feelings, thoughts and behaviours. In other words, this type of talking therapy can help you to make sense of how it feels to be in your world and the relationships around you and achieve lasting change to your mental health for the better.

I work in partnership with employers to help support members of their workforce when they are struggling. These might be problems associated with the workplace, home life or both. While the employer is the referral partner and is funding the sessions, the therapy remains completely confidential and no information is shared with the employer other than numbers of sessions completed.

I offer clinical supervision in which I draw from a range of models including the seven eyed model, Proctor's three functions, IDM and Schon's Reflective practitioner.

I believe that as practitioners, we all have an obligation to be actively engaged in regular supervision that is appropriate for the caseload we carry.

Single Session Therapy is suitable for those who have a particular dilemma or problem and would like an intensive session that helps them to bring clarity or a plan of action together.

Single sessions are longer sessions - usually an hour and a half and they require some advance preparation. There is no expectation for your to undertake a series of regular sessions.

Making use of Single Session Therapy does not exclude you from being able to take up regular sessions in the future should you feel those would work better for you.

Student Counsellors are expected to complete a minimum number of personal therapy sessions as part of their course.

Very often, placement providers will also require students on placement to be undertaking personal therapy for the duration of the placement and/or externally provided clinical supervision.

I offer lower rates for both counselling and supervision to counselling students to support this requirement.

I am able to offer programmes of services to charities and non-profit organisations.

This might include low cost counselling to stakeholders.

Supervision to the helping professionals working within the organisation.

A combination of the two.
