This is Module 1 of the Clinical Supervision Course Suite. A guide for Student Counsellors in placement and newly qualified Counsellors teaching how to use clinical supervision most effectively to develop their practice. This course is also a useful refresher if you have taken a break from practice or have found supervision problematic for any reason.

This is Module 2 of the Clinical Supervision Suite. It is designed to support counsellors who are 0-3years post qualification and are working in private practice, within an agency, or in another professional setting. It is assumed that you are meeting the BACP or NCPS requirement for regular clinical supervision. The module builds on the foundations established in Module 1 Making Supervision Work. Completion of Module 1 is recommended. If Module 1 is not completed, preparatory reading is necessary particularly with regard to Proctor's model and the purpose of supervision.

This course is Module 3 of the Clinical Supervision Suite of courses. It is the most theoretically demanding module in the suite. This module is designed for practitioners who have moved beyond the foundations of supervision into deeper engagement with the relational, ethical and self-reflective dimensions of clinical practice. It assumes a working knowledge of the content of Modules 1 and 2 — particularly Proctor's functional model and the Seven-Eyed Model. References to these frameworks are made throughout without detailed re-explanation. This module is particularly relevant for practitioners preparing for BACP Individual Accreditation, those moving towards Column B of the SCoPEd framework, and those who want to develop a more sophisticated and self-authored relationship with supervision. A personal supervision framework template and a 500-word reflective essay activity are included — both of which are directly applicable to BACP accreditation applications.
