A community of nature-rooted, creative gatherings for women, based around Tavistock and Dartmoor with an online strand for everywhere else. There are two ways in: Moor & More, the monthly membership (one live walk-and-write gathering plus one creative evening online, every month), and the Seasonal Living Circle, a quarterly half-day event you can attend as a one-off — no membership required.

No. "Gathering" is open to everyone — a standalone ticket is £39 (£32 early bird). Members of Moor & More attend every seasonal circle free, so if you're thinking of joining anyway, joining first is the better deal.

A typical morning: we meet, we walk (gently — this is not a fitness event), we settle somewhere sheltered with flasks of tea, we write to a prompt or two, we make something simple with our hands, and we talk — or don't. Silence is a perfectly acceptable contribution. You might leave with something on paper, something made, or simply that particular lightness that comes from a morning when nobody needed anything from you.

Founding members: £15/month, locked in for as long as you stay. Standard rate thereafter: £19/month. Cancel anytime — no notice period, no guilt trip.

On and around the edges of Dartmoor, within easy reach of Tavistock — exact meeting points are shared with members and ticket-holders. Walks are short and gentle (think amble, not yomp), with an accessible or indoor alternative when the moor is being dramatic. If you have mobility considerations, tell me when you book and we'll make it work.

Boots or sturdy shoes, layers (Dartmoor invented weather), and a notebook you don't mind getting rained on. Everything else — prompts, materials, tea, biscuits — is provided.

Absolutely not! This is a community environment, designed to hold space for the sharing of empathy, wisdom, care and humour amongst women. A space where we all get to put our burdens down for a short while and take some rest.
